CONTEST RULES:
You must start out clean-shaven. There will be ‘before’ photos taken and they will be used to judge your progress.

No beards. If you want to have accompaniments to your mustache such as sideburns,
chops, flavor savor, this is okay. But full beards are not allowed. Your ‘stache
stands alone.

The use of styling, mustache wax, dyes, etc. to further enhance your moustache is allowed but won’t necessarily increase your chances of winning.

You agree to let us to use your image for promotional
purposes. Nothing distasteful,
we promise it will just be used to promote the festival: online, in New
York, and in Hungary.
You will be judged on a variety of factors, all of them subjective.
You can try to have your moustache fit multiple categories
to increase your chances, but you can only win in one. Likewise, you can try to grow
your moustache specifically for one category and end up winning another.
Again, it’s all very subjective.
