A Kiégő Izzók („Lights Burning Out”)
visual team was formed in Budapest in 1998. Since our formation was called
into being stand-alone installations and projected many hundred times
at different events and programmes (techno parties, poetry sessions,
theatrical and dance acts, etc.)
Our aim is not just to have some light-effects as the projection itself
but we want to impress our audiences with some surplus trip. Our installations
and the still- or moving image-montages have concept, they are realized as
a reflection to some aspect of the spot or the event. We pursue to complexly
adjust the visuals to the place, the character or atmosphere of the given
event as well (whether it is theatrical act, concert or any other type of
programme). We create, like the spot-specific character of the installations,
for every single gig of ours, new pictures, video installations specially
concentrated for the given topic.
In the past years we have developed a close work relationship with various
cultural and art organizations: Műcsarnok, MODEM, Trafó, Tilos
Rádió,
A38, L1 Dance Studio, Two
In One Company, Szentendre Art Mill, Szonár
Audiovisual Foundation, Méhkasaula Society.
